Attention all Google AdWords advertisers! Just when you think you’ve finally figured out how to get your ads to rank well in Google based on the quality score algorithm…(by having keywords in the title and description and linking to a relevant landing page, etc), they have added a new factor in to the equation.
What do you have to also think about now? – Page Load Time!
If the landing page to your ad has a slow load time, Google will give you a poor load time grade and that will be factor in to where your ad will rank.
There has not been a scale yet to which Google will use to measure your page load time to say what is considered "too long".
Also, it doesn’t seem like Google has implemented this change yet, you should be able to see your load time score on your keywords page from your Google Adwords console.
