Page Load Time in Affect for Google AdWords

June 19, 2008 by Jason McElweenie

A while back Google told us that they’ll be adding a new item that will be used to determine the quality score of your keywords – the page load time of your landing pages. They announced last night that it is in full affect now.

What is Landing Page Load Time? – the amount of time it takes for a user to see the landing page after they click on your ad.

Again, you can see your landing page load time score from your Keyword Analysis Page.

This score is now being added to your overall quality score.  So it is very important to check now and fix it quickly before you start to see your minimum bid increase due to a low quality score.

For more information on how to improve your page load time, take a look here: https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=93116
